2012 – The Year of the Dragon(Con)!

Labor Day weekend will be here before we know it – looks like it’s time to start thinking “Dragon*Con Comics and Pop Art! 2012 promises to be even more exciting than previous years, with the announcement of many creators we’ve yet to see in attendance at Dragon*Con.

While artist alley will see a number of returning favorites – such as Tim Sale, Joe Benitez, Peter Steigerwald and Derek Yaniger (to name a few) – we’re also presenting a number of new names to the Comics and Pop Art lineup.

This season will mark the D*C debut of Batman artist extraordinaire Dustin Nguyen, “Batman Beyond” illustrator Ryan Benjamin, Mike Choi of “X-Force” and “X23″ fame, the dynamic Eric Canete, Zenescope cover artist Jamie Tyndall, and Sean “Cheeks” Galloway, the amazing character designer behind the animated Hellboy and Spider-Man.

These are just a few of the fantastic creators we’ve lined up to help celebrate the Year of the Dragon(Con) with the thousands of fans who flock to Atlanta every summer for the largest pop culture celebration in the southeast.

Dragon*Con takes place August 31 – September 3, 2012.
