Atlanta art collectors present original Sci-Fi art exhibit!

The Atlanta area art collectors are once again thrilled to bring a stellar display of comic and fantasy art your way!
This year the theme is the art of science fiction in books, magazines, comic strips and comic books and they have a vast array of work from across all four genres. See original works from the likes of Jeffrey Jones, Roy Krenkel, John Berkey, Gil Kane, Kelly Freas, Tim Truman, Frank Frazetta, Al McWilliams, Al Williamson, and many many more.
The gallery will be set up in artists alley in Grand Hall East of the Hyatt Regency all day Saturday, and it’s a great opportunity for original art collectors to meet, greet and see some great art!!
Chalk Twins deliver LIVE art to artists alley!

Killer Targets and Doktor A deliver D*C 2012 exclusive!

Dragon*Con favorite Doktor A will be represented this year with a special limited edition print release from the fine folks at Killer Targets. Although Dok will not be in attendance, this is an excellent opportunity to secure a rare show exclusive featuring his amazing design. Check back soon for full details and release times.
A limited number of the exclusive Decommissioned Stephan LePodd art toys from the good Doktor and MINDstyle will also be available, in case you missed your chance to grab one the first time around.
Killer Targets can be found all weekend in Comics and Pop Artists alley at booth #BT12.Strictly limited to 50 prints, with 40 available at Dragon*Con 2012.

It won’t be long before the summer heat invades Atlanta, and that means that Dragon*Con 2012 is within striking distance!
This year promises to be yet another exciting and innovative season for Comics and Pop Art, with appearances by many of your returning favorites, as well as some names you haven’t seen attached to Dragon*Con in the past.

Dragon*Con 2011 claims the silver!

2011 marks 25 years of Dragon*Con! A quarter-century of the country’s most exciting celebration of pop culture is quite a milestone, and Comics and Pop Art is determined to make it memorable for attendees.
Continuing on our commitment to deliver an amazing roster of creators, this year should be a banner event for fans of comics, illustration, lowbrow, designer toys and art cards.

The popular Dragon*Con Comics and Pop Art Reception takes place Friday evening, September 3 at 8:30Pm in Regency V of the Hyatt Regency Atlanta.
This annual kick-off celebration offers fans and pros alike the opportunity to meet and mingle while enjoying the debut of exclusive show releases.
2010 marks the first year that Dragon*Con has opened the event to creators, offering guest artists the chance to launch unique works at what has fast become a vital component of the Comics and Pop Art experience at Dragon*Con.
