To top off the weekend, we’re proud to announce the Aspen Comics Beach Party during Dragon*Con Night at the Georgia Aquarium! Including an Aspen Comics costume contest, this special event will give fans and attendees a rare opportunity to see creators from the company behind Fathom diving LIVE with the whale sharks!!! Aspen Comics will have plenty of exciting exclusive releases for Dragon Con attendees, so be sure to stop by artists alley in the Grand Hall East of the Hyatt Regency and find out what surprises await!

It won’t be long before the summer heat invades Atlanta, and that means that Dragon*Con 2012 is within striking distance!

This year promises to be yet another exciting and innovative season for Comics and Pop Art, with appearances by many of your returning favorites, as well as some names you haven’t seen attached to Dragon*Con in the past.

We will be rolling out a full guest list very soon, but in the meantime mark your calendars for the chance to see Tim Sale, Dustin Nguyen, Ryan Benjamin, Eric Canete, Sean “Cheeks” Galloway, Mike Choi, Joe Benitez, Peter Steigerwald, Derek Yaniger, Dave Johnson, and many, many more!

2011 marks 25 years of Dragon*Con! A quarter-century of the country’s most exciting celebration of pop culture is quite a milestone, and Comics and Pop Art is determined to make it memorable for attendees.

Continuing on our commitment to deliver an amazing roster of creators, this year should be a banner event for fans of comics, illustration, lowbrow, designer toys and art cards.

Returning to artist alley this September are fan-favorites J. We will be updating the guest list regularly, as well as announcing exciting panels, programming, exclusives releases and other surprises in the coming weeks, leading up to another standout Comics and Pop Art event!
